I love writing short stories. This is a short story I wrote in 2016 when I stayed in Norwich for a summer course.

THE LAVENDER HOUSE

Plague. Death. The authorities ordered to check if the people living in the house were dead. No sign of life. In order to avoid the smell, they put lavender on their masks, they painted the red cross on the door and sealed it as well as the windows. After three weeks, they came back to pick up the corpses, but one of them had moved. The youngest daughter was not dead the first day they came. She was asleep, but three weeks later, she was, and she didn't die of hunger.

And I also love storytelling. I'm not very good at it, however I like trying it, so you can watch a video (recorded with SnagIt) with a picture of the real storyteller and my version of the story.

Ten secrets to write better stories

1. Write In One Sitting Write the f i rst draft of your story   in as short a ti m e a s possible. If you’re writing a short story, try to write it in one sitting. If you’re writing a novel, try to write it in one season (three months). 2 Don’t worry too much about plotting or outlining beforehand.
